Water Quality Professionals work tirelessly to protect our precious waters, but are not recognized in the same manner as more familiar public heroes, such as the police and firefighters. Therefore PNCWA has initiated the “Silent Heroes” program to recognize the great work that is being done by Water Quality Professionals in protecting the public health and preserving water quality within Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
The Silent Heroes program works like this: Any PNCWA member can nominate someone to be recognized as a Silent Hero. A nominee need not be a PNCWA |
member. Nominated individuals will receive a Silent Hero certificate, suitable for display, mailed to the individual’s organization so that it can be appropriately presented to the individual. To celebrate all of our Silent Heroes, there will be a “Wall of Honor” at the 2007 Conference recognizing each individual, with each Silent Hero’s name displayed.
Help us give each of these individuals the recognition they deserve. You know who they are…and we want you to tell us so we can tell everyone else. Silent Heroes come from each part of our profession...operators, |
consultants, regulators and manufacturers. They might have risen to be a supervisor or they might have been on the job only a few years. Please fax or mail the form below and tell us in just a few words why they are a hero.
Each nominated Silent Hero will be eligible for cash drawings at the conference. A Silent Hero doesn’t need to be present at the conference to win, but we would be honored if they were there to accept our thanks, and the thanks of their fellow professionals. |
