Thursday, May 25, 2017, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT
Category: WEF (not including WEFTEC)

The Plant Operations and Maintenance Committee has developed this “fundamentals” style Webcast to introduce the basics of phosphorus removal in the liquid stream of municipal WRRF. In the first hour of the webinar, subject matter experts will lead a classroom style review of topics including phosphorus speciation, biological phosphorus removal and general operational considerations. The second portion of this Webcast will highlight two facilities that are meeting stringent TP limits with biological removal processes. Attendees of this webinar will have the opportunity to engage with practitioners who can speak firsthand to the challenges and solutions to phosphorus removal at municipal WRRF.

There will be up to 2.0 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) offered for this webcast. Please check with your state accreditation agency to determine if you qualify. The PDH instructions will be sent to all attendees 24 hours after the webcast has ended.
