In other news, the recently passed Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA) authorized five years of federal investment in the water and wastewater sectors. The 2022 allocations alone are an estimated $153M in WA, $92M in OR, and $63M in Idaho through the SRF programs. It is a staggering sum that will grow each year for the next 5 years.

This presents a generational opportunity to build and upgrade treatment plants to state-of-the-art facilities.
