PNCWA2023 Conference Update

Submit Your Abstracts by March 8 for PNCWA2023!

We are excited to come together with you at PNCWA2023 this September in Tacoma, WA, for a forward-thinking celebration of the clean water industry. The call for abstracts was released mid-January in an email blast and is also available on the conference website

This year’s conference will focus on “Catalyzing a Sound Future for Water,” and additional information on the technical sub-themes is available on the website. Abstracts are due March 8!

We encourage you to think outside the box as you prepare your abstract submissions, both in terms of presentation style and content. We love hearing about your recent facility expansions to produce cleaner water, and we want to learn more about how utilities are effectively (and securely) managing the mountains of data generated by instrumentation and controls improvements. We want to hear how diverse teams of contractors, engineers, operators, and regulators are coming together to resolve pressing water quality issues and how small communities can tackle costly system improvements through innovative funding approaches. We want to understand how organizations are developing their future leaders. Our goal for PNCWA2023 is to amplify the stories, experiences, successes, and lessons learned by our water community so we can learn from each other and catalyze a sound future for water.

We look forward to reading your abstracts over the coming weeks and seeing you all in Tacoma this September!

Andrew Matsumoto, Conference Chair & Kristi Steiner, Technical Program Chair
