Do you think you’ve experienced all that is at the Fall Conference? Do you think you've seen the nooks and crannies of Portland? Think again!
We're excited to announce that the great Quest for Water (Portland Edition) scavenger hunt is back — bigger, bolder and more thrilling than ever before. Whether you're a seasoned Portlander or new to the area, get ready to inject excitement into the PNCWA Fall Conference 2025 – our scavenger hunt promises an unforgettable experience!
What's the Buzz?
Imagine three days filled with novelty, excitement, and a dash of competition. We are kicking off the scavenger hunt right before the Student and Young Professionals (S&YP) fun run on Sunday, September 14th at 1:00 PM, and will conclude at the Ops Challenge Award Ceremony on Tuesday, September 16th.
We’re transforming the Oregon Convention Center and the streets of Portland into a giant game board where you and your friends and colleagues can indulge in fun challenges, puzzles, and tasks. It's not just a scavenger hunt; it’s a treasure hunt rolled into an urban adventure, offering an exhilarating mix of exploration, competition, and local flavor.
How It Works:
Step 1: Register Online, solo or as a team (up to 5 participants per team):
- If your company sponsors at Stream or Waterfall levels, all included registrants are guaranteed to be on the same team.
- If you register individually, you will be placed in teams randomly, but this makes for a great networking and relationship-building opportunity.
Step 2: Tasks and teams are released on Saturday September 13th, so get your team together the weekend of the event to strategize!
Step 3: Gear Up! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate gear, and don’t forget to charge your smartphone, as you’ll need it to log clues and navigate the hunt!
Step 4: Explore and Win! Follow clues scattered across the city to uncover hidden spots and complete daring challenges, all while racing against the clock.
Step 5: Prizes await those who conquer the hunt!
