Outreach Resources

No need to re-create the wheel. Here is your one-stop shop for public information tools for your wastewater & stormwater education programs. For permissions and materials, please contact the program's owner. If you have education tools you'd like to post, please contact Karen DeBaker at (503) 681-3643 or at [email protected].

You can also visit EPA's online Nonpoint Source Outreach Toolbox which contains more than 700 viewable and/or audible TV, radio, and print ads and other outreach products to increase awareness and/or change behaviors across six common topics here.

New Toolkit Materials

WEF and AWWA have added more materials to their "Communicating the Value of Water" online toolkit. The no-cost resources include infographics, social media graphics, bill stuffers, radio PSAs, a messaging platform and basic communications plan. Developed by WEF and AWWA, this toolkit  is intended to help you communicate the value of water, water and wastewater services, and the need for infrastructure investment. Native files are available upon request so that the materials can be adapted to meet local needs. More info at ► https://www.wef.org/resources/for-the-public/value-of-water.
