Excellence in Resource Recovery Award (PNCWA Award)

Formerly the Excellence in Water Reuse Award, it was decided to expand to recognize all efforts of resource recovery. The purpose of this award is to recognize resource recovery programs (nutrient, energy, water, or carbon recovery) that demonstrate outstanding performance in moving the concept of resource recovery forward in the Pacific Northwest region. The focus of the award is to recognize outstanding programs, which demonstrate the production and use of recycled water meeting or exceeding state treatment quality requirements or recovery of other resources from wastewater for beneficial use.
