Join PNCWA in Seattle for a tour of the Ship Canal Water Quality Project, followed by a social hour. Seattle Public Utilities and King County Wastewater Treatment Division are building an underground storage tunnel to significantly reduce the amount of polluted stormwater (from rain) and sewage that flows into the Lake Washington Ship Canal, Salmon Bay, and Lake Union from our sewer system. The tour will include a presentation on the project from SPU and subsequent tour of the Ballard Site. The event is free, but has limited capacity. The social is open to all- no registration required.
