Back by popular demand, the PNCWA Board is creating a calendar for 2018, which we will distribute at the PNCWA Annual Conference this fall. We put together an amazing calendar for 2017, and we want to do it again. As a family of outstanding professionals who work hard to protect the environment and recover our resources, PNCWA wants to highlight the people, projects, and facilities that show the best of our industry in the Pacific Northwest. Read on for your chance to be in the 2018 PNCWA Calendar!

Scholarship Funds for Operators Now Open

Thanks to a very generous offering and donation from UBOS (Umpqua Basin Operators Section), the PNCWA scholarship program has recently added two new funds that will award scholarships to applicants interested in the field of operations. The two new funds are the Lucas Eibel Memorial Scholarship, a $1,500 award that targets community college students in a two-year or two-year transfer program in Oregon, and the Education for Operators Scholarship, a $1,500 award targeted to one-year certification program or two-year college program for operators from any PNCWA state (Oregon, Idaho and Washington). Applications are open and due June 23, 2017. Continue reading—
