If it’s been awhile since you’ve stopped by our annual conference site, make sure you do soon! Thanks to our Planning Committee and volunteers, we have several updates to share.
Technical Program: We’re in for a solid technical program this year, and now you get a chance to check it out. With a broad range of topics, the content is critical and relevant to the challenges our industry is facing today.
Post-Conference Workshops: Workshops are back! These five post-conference workshops on a variety of topics will take place on Wednesday afternoon instead of the Sunday before the conference. We’re confident there’s one or two to pique your interest.
Facility Tours: This year, experience Spokane through a clean-water lens in several different ways. Visit Spokane’s water reclamation facilitates to learn about their processes, technologies, and operational challenges; take a stroll to some of Spokane’s green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) sites and learn how the city uses GSI to meet their MS4 permit requirements; and join us on an educational site tour of the Saltese Flats, a restored wetland. We can’t wait to see you in the fall!
Conference Committee leadership would like to give special thanks to our sponsors. Without the support of our sponsors, we could not achieve our mission to educate the public on the value of water and to be good environmental stewards in the Pacific Northwest. Opportunities to sponsor are still available, so please help us spread the word.
